Ukrainian crisis

Ukraine has a long history of being subjugated by foreign powers. This is even reflected in its name, "Ukraine" means actually "borderland". But let's begin with the begin. This is going to be complicated as hell so I'm warning you.

The Golden Horde

So the "East" of Ukrain was mostly populated by Altai Tartars. After Cengiz Khan conquered them they became part of the great Mongolian Empire. After Cengiz Khan his dead, you could actually seperate the Mongolian Empire in 4 different parts. One of them was the Golden Khanate, the Tartars were in Charge and the Russian Kingdoms Moscovy or Rzan were their vassals. After a time the Golden Khanate was falling apart in differt other Khanates and meanwhile the Russians were breaking free. Moscovy for instance had captured all other Russian kingdoms and even had conquered the Novgorod Republic in the far north. Moscovy was expanding and expanding, conquering the other (former-Golden Khanate) Khanates, yes I know it's now already complicated. The only one that remainded was Crimea because the Ottoman Empire protected them.

The Ottomans held stand, but with their own problems they couldn't help their Tartaric brothers anymore. Many Russians who went to the South to fight the Ottomans stayed also in those areas assimilating the most of the Tartars in that area. So many Russians went that it became known as "Novorossiya" or "New Russia".

So now we already know some background information, and how it is that the east of Ukraine is mostly populated by Russians.

Ukrainian Fascists

So actually when people losing to think they chose mostly Fascism, but how did this Ukrainian fascism started ? Ukrainians never actually liked their country runned by Russians and especially not by communists.

Operation Barbarosso (Second World War)
The Ukrainians were really happy with the Germans and many Ukrainian men joined the German Army to attack Stalingrad. Ukrainian dreamed of a Fascist alliance with Nazi Germany. After the Communists striked back and drived the German army back into Poland the Ukranians were the victims of the brutal victims of Stalin his regime. Almost 2 millions Ukranians died of starvation, whether it was genocide or not, I don't know and I don't care.

But like every crisis and now in Ukraine, the Fascist Party ( the Svobodparty ) gained more and more votes. The last elections they won 26 seats in the parlement and gained 10 percent of the votes. The next elections this will be more and there is a chance that they can become the biggest party in Ukraine, and yes the current government is totalitair like Putin and the Russian government, but I never saw a democratic fascist ?

He's hairstyle is really fucked up

Take note, their logo seems very famillar to the "Wolfangel", a symbol used by the SS.

It's actually funny, because they're neo-nazis and slavic... If you don't get what I mean, the German Nazis saw the Slavic people as inferior.

The opposition leader of this group is Vitali Klitschko, a former world champion boxer, well Mussolini was also a boss in fighting, but is it good to support an agressive anti-semetic fascist ?

how peacefull, but lets look to the other pictures

Not so peacefull anymore...

Vladimir Putin and his bitch

not giving a single fuck
And one of his bitches
So we all know Vladimir Putin, who kills bears with his hands, is a totalitarian badass gangster dictator.
So what his role in this crisis is and Russia's role, is that he tries to increase his influence in Ukraine by making economic deals like selling cheap gass and that sort of things.
Why is Ukraine so important for Russia ? Well first of all, the Black sea port Sevestapol in Crimea that the Soviet-Union has given to Ukraine in 1955 (I'm not sure about this), but the Russian navy still remains in that port. If Ukraine ever will go a more Pro-Western way, this port will be given to the Americans. Something that's unacceptable for Russia and Putin. And afterall Ukraine is a buffer state if the West ever would attack Russia.

The European Union

First of all, the European Union is a sinking ship. Second of all, they don't give a fuck about Ukrain. And as last, they're full of bullshit.

Yeah, that's basicly it..

The Non-Fascist Democratic Opposition

Well, I actually don't think they have enough power or influence to decide something. Who the hell cares about democracy... And actually what's their plan ?

-Pension age increase (55 years to 60 years)
-Higher gas prices
and more

What's happening ?

So basicly what's happening in Ukraine is that one part of the Ukrainian population wants to be part of Europe or be more Pro Western. Because Europe has more respect for human rights than Russia like we all know. Is this good ?

The Ukranian younger generation dreams of Europe with their amazing live standards and freedom, but the only thing that the European Union wants is to export their western products to Ukraine. They don't want Ukraine in the European Union or that sort of bullshit.

The other part is more Pro-Russian, is this better ?

Well isn't that good either, but it's a growing economy who wants to invest in the Ukranian economy. They also offer Ukraine cheap gass and better economic relations.

This is being presented in the Media like it is a Western film, with the good vs the bad. Well it isn't that simple. The fact that a large group of the protesters are fascists is being minimilased like several other things.

3 Things can be happen in Ukrain I think.

1) Civil war and Russia invades the country.

2) Russia invades the country

3) There is a little chance that Russia will invade the country

I think that there is no way that Putin will ever let Ukrain go a more Western course.
